Halloween is in our midst!

Halloween!!!
THE EXCITEMENT IS OFFICIALLY HERE!

It's our favorite holiday! It's quite a production. Organizing a multitude of supplies along with arranging Halloween friendly decore.
The production line has commenced.
Printing, fussy cutting an array of boxes.
I'll be sharing all the details in future posts.

FRANKENSTEIN HALLOWEEN RICE KRISPIE TREATS

TIPS:
Hair~Dark chocolate Jimmies ( if black are difficult to locate)
Wilton~candy eyeballs
Rice Krispie Treats~ individually wrapped bars

When I recreate recipes that I've  discovered from fellow bloggers, I try to tweak the recipe to create shortcuts.
 Which helps when I
need to make multiple batches.
And anyone who has followed me for any length of time knows, I'm always creating through the easiest steps possible.
I enjoy the process of... boxing/bagging and decorating the packaging for each treat that I'm gifting.

GHOSTLY CHOCOLATE BARK

TIPS:
Pan~ line with parchment paper.

Allows easy release from pan.
Ziploc bags are great substitutes for a piping bag.
Fill quart bag with melted chocolate, snip bottom corner tip of the ziploc.

 ANYONE OUT  THERE!!??

    Let's get reacquainted.

While I've been away I've  stored up some wonderful DIY's and recipes to share with you. I've gathered seasonal treats from talented bloggers. As well as sweet surprises from my own kitchen and or craft studio. We're about to enter the seasons of creativity. So join me for the fun!

The new school year has started for some. Others will be joining shorty.

Welcoming in a new school year is always filled with excitement.

No better time to gift and share a goodie or three.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUGAR WAFER PENCIL COOKIES

Aren't these sweet!
Either as a surprise for anyone's lunchbox or wrapped up for the teacher.

Rolo and chocolate pencil

candy pencil

Apple Oreos

Another  easy option would be a donut hole.
with the same dunking process.

This charming packaging captured my attention.

For easier transport I'd place  these mini pails and  into a cello bag.  Adding a school themed ribbon with a gift tag.

Such wonderful ideas from some talented fellow Bloggers.
I hope you have a chance to stop by their Blogspots
to get the full details on each project.

Please let them know Sara's Sweet Surprise sent you!

I'd love to hear from you as to what holiday DIY's you'd like to see in future posts.

I am also planning a "Reacquainting Giveaway!" All you need to do is  leave a comment on each post and subscribe/follow.

I will be posting all the information soon.
