Bun Fun!

Spring is in the air!
Which means Easter will soon be here.

This gave me the perfect opportunity to shop at one of my favorite stores.
Come along for the
"TOUR DE WORLD MARKET!!!"

I always make a beeline to the chocolate Bunnies first.

Catching my attention right off the bat was the cute collection of foiled bunnies.
Each large cello bag had a variety of bunnies and eggs.

Oooh the "CUBBIES!"
So many Sweet Surprises!

Who could resist these faces?
Not me.

I just had to have them.

Sunny Seeds, chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
Their versatility had me thinking they'd make a great addition to my tablescape.
I could also refill them with all kinds of goodies when the seeds were gobbled up.

I have to mention how much I loved the retro theme that was carried throughout the whole Easter collection.

I've always wanted to make these but....I was discouraged by the amount of work it would entail after watching Miss Martha attempt them.
Now, the work has been done for me.
There's no way my end result would have produced these beautiful colors.

These Solid chocolate Bunns were a must have for my Easter basket project.

Chickie's...peeping in to say hello.
Once again..... so adorable.

(sigh)*Pastel*eggs for my lil Easter baskets.

How fun it will be to have a few of these pasta bunnies hopping in my soup.

If you look a little closer.....inside the bowl are mini bunny candle holders.
Or....
in place of candles fill them with salt and pepper and set them next to each guests place setting.

The inspiration for the bunnies necklace came from last years embellished chocolate Easter egg post.

I'd like to thank the Vancouver Washington World Market for letting me spotlight their store.

If you're ever in their neighborhood....hop on in.

Sara your story is so funny about the Easter package! You could have called it a Bomb from Mom! Oh I also remember dressing to the nines for Easter with my Easter hat and little white gloves and white dress shoes. What memories with my Grandma Meme in church always teaching me how to follow the songs in the hymnal. There were two spots in our liv rm ceiling that were nail pops. But my darling Daddy told me that the Easter bunny that stopped by was extremely tall and when he hopped up he poked his ears in the ceiling. I believed that for many years! Ha Ha

Blessings to you dear Sara! Sherry

We have a world Market about a half hour away, I have to make an effort to get there, I forget all of the neat stuff they have. I love that they have a retro vibe and so many different things!! Have fun redoing your curio cabinet, I am quite sure mine will fetch $50-60. Happy Easter to you and your family...Hoping you don't have any stink bombs!! Sara, I love you but I am now going to try for the third time to get the right spelling for word verification, Blogger does a wonderful job of sorting spam if you turn it off. I know you will get a lot more comments too, so many people won't even leave a comment with word verification. Off to try again! Trying for 4th time!

Too funny the things we do for blogging! Your creations were my favorite. I have already invaded my niece and nephew's candy supply. I have to be sneaky with my nephew though, he's not so big on the sharing aspect! Happy Easter to you!

I love your Easter story, Sara. We once had neighbors who were known to imbibe. One Easter they hid eggs for their children and all but one was retrieved. Several weeks later the unmistakable smell of rotten eggs filled their house. They knew what it was, but couldn't remember where the bad egg had been hidden. A neighbor's dog came to their rescue. The egg was hidden behind a radiator. So, this is a warning to all. Don't drink and hide :-). I hope you have a wonderful Easter. Blessings...MAry Blessings...Mary

Oh, how cute! You always come up with the best ideas, Sara!

I'm so glad you dropped by to visit. As you could tell from my post, I am computerless. Currently, I am out of town with Mr. Magpie on business and am on Mr. Magpie's work computer right now. He brought it with him. It's a lap top. I have missed seeing you, and I was so glad you did a post. Loved seeing this and getting to wish you a Happy Spring!

Miss you, my friend...

XO,

Sheila
