Something not generally known about me is that I have traveled to 40 of the 50 states, and over 20foreign countries (Thank you Air Force!)

What keep me coming back? I am a relationship person. Those who leave me comments, or become followers, I always return the favor. It's just nice.

My best blog advice is to write for yourself. After all, it is your very own online web log (journal) that represents your thoughts. If you write about what is important or meaningful to you then the "numbers" will never matter.

Wow what a great offer!Such Beautiful things! Thanks

Something generally not know about me IRL is that I can't do dishes without wearing rubber gloves. Not just when scrubbing a pan but even when loading the dishwasher. Anything to do with the sink.

What keeps me coming back to a blog is many different things. Mainly that I feel something and can connect to the reader be it through great ideas and tips, tears,or joy. Plus, Laughter is always good!

I'm new to blogging, but my advice is to learn how to publish at a later date. You can write things when they are fresh in your mind and then schedule them to post on a specific day. Very helpful in balancing family and frees up time to just read your favorite blogs.

Hi, I am new to your blog, but it is one I will return to! It is very pretty! I came by way of Lady Lamp Tramp!! ;)
Not known about me?..I'd love to do things that help make the world a better place. I love to inspire people.
Keeps me coming back? the hopes of building relationships and the feeling of inspiration I get from other blogs.
Best blog advice? I'm such a newbie, I'm not sure I have any....learn how to be adept at blogging...to make it interesting.
Thanks!

O la la! Ca cest tres bon! Merci! Merci!
Since that is the limit of my French, I’ll answer your questions en englaise …

1. I have so few secrets, now that I blog, but I guess the fact that I long to own a beater of a truck is a bit odd! I really could use one so that I can stop hauling rocks and manure in the mini-van!
2. I am drawn to Brenda’s blog - Coffee, tea books and me - because she writes honestly and practically from the heart and it’s always an encouragement to visit and read her thoughts there.
3. My best blog advice is to think about your comments at least twice before you hit the publish button. If in doubt - delete it!

Thanks so much,
Heather

Whew! Girl, I had to click on that photo to catch all the details of your AMAZING Give Away! LOVE it!

Something generally not known about me is my age ;). 39?????

What keeps me visiting a blog? The blog keeper! If I like the author, I will return.

Best advice...Hmmm, this is a tough one! Hmmm, teach what you know others would like to know.

Tanya said...

Something not generally known about me is that I am a blogger! (based on how many of my real-life friends and relatives don't visit it)ha ha

What keeps me coming back is interesting writing. But I must admit I'm very visual and a sucker for a good slide show.

My best blog advice is to enjoy what you're doing and make it personal. Don't worry about what "people" will think, just be yourself. Same goes for life!

Connie said...

Oh my gosh, Sara sweetie, you have outdone yourself on this giveaway!! Woooooeeeeeee! WOW! I lead a boring life but I'll try to measure up to the questions......LOL

Interesting about me??? Well, I memorize license plates of friends. I also "cancel out 9" on the plates or numbers I see. I know, I know, it's weird but I think it's OCD or something like that! Hah......

Draws me back to favorite blogs?? It has got to be the colors and eye candy! Pink will get me every time but the eye candy is usually what does it for me, honey!

Best blog advice? Be consistent with posting and post lots of eye candy. People don't especially like to read everything, but they will definitely look at the pix and creations.

Now......count me in!! Fantastic, sweetpea........

Smooches,
Connie

What a beautiful giveaway...let's see, something not known about me...hmmm I'm a grandma to the cutest baby boy in the world.

What keeps me coming back to a blog...hmmm, I would have to say I have to feel the writer has a lot in common with me and a witty personality wont hurt either.

My best blog advice would be to be yourself, be honest, and be willing to share even the most mundane advice, if you think it may help someone else.j

Wow! I stalked your blog through Cheri's. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that stuff!

1. I hate to craft. But I act like I enjoy it. I just like to buy stuff from people that enjoy doing it.

2. I come back to people who are funny and who update often.

3. My best advice is update your blog as much as possible. The more you update, the more traffic you will drive up. Also, comment a lot on other blogs!

Cheri (aka "The Mom Lady") said...

Thanks for visiting my blog! It's always nice to see new names (and LOVE seeing the "regulars").

Not known about me? Hmmm...I have the same birthday as Juliette Gordon Lowe, the founder of Girl Scouts. Okay, NOT the same year (sheesh, she's like over 100 years old!).

What keeps me coming back? Humor. Interesting stories. When I feel a connection.

Blog advice? Develop a thick skin because it IS a public forum and eventually someone's going to wander into your territory and give you a (nasty) piece of their mind and it ain't pleasant. Happened to me just last month. But I learned from it AND grew a thicker skin.

Hey Sara....this is truly a sweet and wonderful surprise. Thanks for letting me in to this special offer.
HHHmmmm!!!

Something generally not known about me: I am very shy!

What keeps me coming back: Gosh, all the sweet wonderful people I've met. They make me feel so good, with their kind words of bloggy love!

My best blog advice: Be yourself on your blog..."To thine own self be true"! People will love you or not, but you will always have that dignity!

What a lovely giveaway Sara and thanks for stopping by today:-). I too would say to just write about what you love to write about and not to worry about the numbers. I generally don't receive tons of comments, yet have about 300 hits to the blog a day. So people are reading what I have to blah, blah about....maybe just shy or prefer not to comment. That's really okay:-)

Have fun at the Gift Show!

Thanks for the heads up on this giveaway Sara! It is wonderful! :) On to the three things:

Something not generally known about me is that I used to live in Casablanca, Morocco.

The relationships and personal connections I make with other bloggers keep me coming back.

My best piece of advice to other bloggers is to make it work for you. Blogging can take over your life, and there are practically an infinite number of amazing blogs out there to follow. You have to make it fit into your real life, before it becomes your real life.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway! :)

Hey There Sara, I just came by to thank you for your sweet comments on my blog and look at you, you are having what I call an amazing give away! Wow! I love this.
Something about me...I don't ever lie...not ever, I can't.
What keeps me coming back...to be honest I love pictures! I love little bits and pieces of people's lives, or decorating projects, home decor, recipes. I'm very visual.
My best advice is to post something serious, something funny...then go visiting, and invite people back, otherwise they may never know where you are.
Have a blessed day!

1. What is something interesting ( generally not known) about yourself? I was on an all girls ice hockey team in high school.

2.) What draws you back, to one of your favorite blogs? The great ideas....and especially tutorials.

3.) Whats your best blog advice? I like it when people have their postings categorized. For example if they are crafters and cooks they have a section for their projects and a section where they post recipes.

1- I've been obsessed with cows ever since I was a child even tho my family's knickname for me is another animal.
2- I love blogs with great original photography (I hate when folks just scan pix from books and magazines, that's cheating, in my opinion, and it's also illegal.)
3-My best blog advise is to write about what you love not just about what you are selling.

Lori said...

Ok I can't think of anything that noone knows about me because I usually blab everything. I do visit a blog that is special because I always feel at home there. It is one of the very first blogs I started reading. And my advice is to be yourself and have fun to new bloggers. And again I was so happy to hear from you.

1)Something not generally known about me is I lived in Roswell, New Mexico before all the UFO business exploded
2)What keeps me coming back? New posts
3) Best blog advice is to have fun, post often and please reply back to the folks who comment on your blog. It really makes me feel bad if I visit and visit comment and comment and that blogger ignores me. I won't come back. So be thoughtful.

What keeps me coming back is it is so wonderful to feel like you know someone through a blog as you live their daily lives and ups and downs.

My advise is to let yourself truly go and be free without the fear of judgment.

Hi Sara, What a fabulous give-away! Sign me up! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments. My answers to these questins are:

Hmmmmm #1: Something interesting about myself that generally isn't known: I have a large box of various colored costume-store quality (aka: they itch!) wigs, boa's and pointy glasses that I keep in the garage that often come out for Girl Parties and I have photos to blackmail with : ) Perhaps I should share some on my blog from various Chocolate Parties!!!

#2: I'm drawn back to favorite blogs where women create beauty, are inspiring, witty, uplifting, passionate, some that have home decor ideas, art, snippets of the authors lives, also for the great photography and the creative inspiration I receive!

#3: Blogging advice: Share what is in your heart, what you are passionate about, and inspire me with your photos : )

Something interesting about us...

What draws us back to a blog...

Decorating ideas and humor.

Our best blogging advice...

Probably not to take advice from us as we are so new to this and can barely get a post up sometimes.LOL We do love it and are trying to be more interesting and more consistant!

Hi just found your blog through Meredith's link!

Something not well known about me-
I'm great at grabbing mosquitoes mid-flight.

Keeps me coming back, - a personal response to comments I leave.

Best advice (I'm new too) - be consistent with your blogs theme and its regularity. If you find viewers dribble off, you need to get back on track. But it doesn't look as if you have this problem here!

Kitty Scraps said...

Something not generally known about me...hmmm, OK I've traveled to 47 out of 50 states.

What keeps me coming back to a blog? I love pictures, even horrible grainy pictures, lol

My best advice is to be yourself and leave comments on other's blogs even if it's a lame comment.

Thanks Sara for your sweet comments on my blog!

I love blogs that have lots of new projects and a bit of comment about their daily lives. Love people that leave comments and usually try and visit their blogs when I can.

Best advice - have fun and take lots of photos.

Hello !!
What a sweet Parisiene giveaway!!
Cest magnifique!!
First question a fact little known about myself,is I use to be an alter girl in my church as a child.
Second question, what keeps me going back to her blog is her brutal honesty, like it or not she spits it out I love her for it.

Third question for best advice is be yourself and always leave a comment as you would want others to do for you
I enjoyed answering your 3 questions, this was fun.
