A new look for the New Year

I for one can always benefit from adding a new technique to my makeup routine. In my youth I developed a passion for makeup and fashion, which came naturally living in Southern California. Where my ventures were frequent in Hollywood. Which you can read about on my previous post "Thanks For The Memories." Once you've been dusted by the fairies of fashion and makeup...forever it will be in your soul! With the onset of 2016...I will be posting my passions for fashion and makeup styles that have caught my attention. Along with hints and tricks from my favorite products. I'll be back with Menu Monday and a Valentine DIY. Hope to see you there!

Your yogurt parfaits look so scrumptious! I must admit that I struggle with yogurt, though I can usually get through it if there is granola involved. And with the addition of gorgeous fresh fruit! Ah yes! :)
AWWW Sheri...so good to see you at my humble blog! I've always struggled with the bitterness that some yogurts have too and some have the same sugar content as a can of soda pop! I have to say this parfait has been a winning combination especially for those who say they aren't a fan of yogurt.

Thanks for stopping in!
Sweet wishes,
Sara

Falling into Fall........

October has brought a definite chill to the air, putting me in a decorating mood. As you've come to know from visiting my blog, I love exploring new ideas for taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary. She knows we have to say goodbye....

Angel laid on my chest and filled my face with kitty kisses. Trying to give me enough of them to ease my pain and hopefully carry me through in her absence. Our time is fleeting. How I wished I could turn back the clock. When I look at her I can't convey to her the the love I have, or how great this loss is to me. Especially how I'll miss her everyday. Angel always loved blogging, more so putting in her opinion. She has been my constant companion through my darkest hours and has brought my greatest delights for 16 years. As my dear friend said to me..."they're the ones we whisper our greatest fears to." "We have a big favor to ask of you." My circle of family and friends is very tiny here, so finding solace can be distant. This is where I'm reaching out to you. I know you understand with all your heart what these furry companions mean to us. I would like to compile a scrapbook with all your comments. Whether your a pet owner or just a lover...

Yes Virginia, Christmas has come early!

It's finally happened! My camera has closed it's shutter for the last time. No need for tears... CAUSE I'M JUMPIN' FOR JOY! "Get your boots on Virginia, were goin' camera shopin'." Although my camera isn't as old as the one pictured here...it certainly felt like it at times, especially without a macro option (that word has become music to my ears). It's quite possible I've paid the equivalent of two new cameras with all the batteries purchased over the course of time. For any of you that have stock in Duracell batteries..."you're welcome." If I were to leave the selection of my new camera up to my family... I've no doubt this is what they'd pick out. "Holy macro " just think what I could capture in a single shot... Wow, that would be one hard flash dot to shake from your retinas. I'd be the envy of every paparazzi in Hollywood. Due to the demise of my camera... I wasn't able to bring you all my ...
