October has brought a definite chill to the air, putting me in a decorating mood. As you've come to know from visiting my blog, I love exploring new ideas for taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary. Which I accomplish through the inspiration provided by visiting your lovely blogs. Nothing says "FALL" like these... PUMPKINS! The versatility of pumpkins in any fall decor is endless. I've only got one problem... sometimes the pumpkins can start to look a little sad before the seasons end. (Natalie Maynor's photo) Violet Skiles has the perfect solution! Pumpkin Toppers Flowers, leaves, pearls, frame charm .....what more could you ask for? Reusable, perhaps? Yes they are! Violet has a beautifully illustrated tutorial at her blog for creating your own Pumpkin Topper . Please stroll on over for a visit. She's just as charming as her art! **************************************************** T...

Cupcakes are really the THING as of late it seems.
So many beautiful and wonderful creations out there.
I somehow missed this post, Sara, and I'm sorry. My blogging has been sporadic of late due to the fact that I'm on a borrowed IPAD. And I love your blog and was so happy to hear you talking to us on this post. I loved hearing all about your blog win and the various products. I am going to come back and catch the second half a little later. Mr. Magpie is ready to GO. We have to finish putting up garland. I am the "supervisor" and nearly pulled my hair out trying to direct him and our helper last night. Of course, we waited till it was nearly dark!!! Of course. ;-)
My heart is just racing at the thought of that cute cupcake tower, and I know Cecelia is going to have a fit over it. I can't wait to play with it and make some cupcakes to share. I am going to put on my thinking cap about a neat centerpiece with the ferris wheel as the starting point. I should have a new computer from Santa, and I can't wait to share this with you.
Thank you, again, my friend. I love you and your blog, and I think it is expecially fun to win this since I met you on Foodie Friday. I was just awed by your talents and still am, but even more so, by how sweet you are.. I am not the creative genius you are in the kitchen, but I have enjoyed you sharing with us and inspirring us with your creations and your heartfelt love.
Love to you, my sweet Sara...
XO,
Sheila
